Dr Berenice Beverley Zammit is a Performance Expert and Consultant, Chartered Psychologist, and professional violinist specialising in performance under pressure.

Berenice works with musicians, dancers, musical theatre performers, and other performing artists who wish to perform more consistently in high-stakes settings such as auditions, examinations, competitions, rehearsals, and live performance.

Her work focuses on common challenges including performance anxiety, overthinking, loss of confidence, muscular tension, memory lapses, disrupted focus, and difficulty reproducing skills reliably under pressure. Drawing on research in performance science and psychology, she helps performers develop practical strategies to support performance, wellbeing, and sustainable excellence.

As both a psychologist and active professional performer, she brings an understanding of performance that is informed by research as well as ongoing experience in professional performance environments.

Berenice holds a PhD in performance optimization, is a Chartered Psychologist, and lectures in Performance Science, Performance Psychology, Dance Science, and Health & Wellbeing in the Performing Arts.

Alongside her consultancy and research, she maintains an active career as a professional violinist and has collaborated with organisations including the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), One Dance UK, and across European conservatoires.

Berenice is an Associate of the Royal College of Music, London.
